Apotheosis Star-Eater Prismatic Warlock Build
Last Updated:October 10, 2024|Change Log
Welcome to the Apotheosis Star-Eater Prismatic Warlock Build Guide! This build takes advantage of the Exotic Class Item Solipsism with the perks Spirit of the Star-Eater and Spirit of Apotheosis. Star-Eater greatly increases the damage of Needlestorm as you pick up Orbs of Power. Apotheosis lets you squeeze out even more damage by boosting your ability regen after your Super is cast.
To keep you alive and your Vortex Grenade energy full, Feed the Void activates Devour on Void ability kill, giving you one of the strongest self-heals in the game and improved grenade energy returns. Your grenade also Weakens targets thanks to Facet of Dominance, adding a 15% debuff to any enemy caught in its Vortex.
This Apotheosis / Star-Eater Prismatic Warlock build provides an easy way to become Radiant with Facet of Dawn, increasing your weapon damage by 25%. With Facet of Purpose, picking up an Orb of Power grants Woven Mail, a 45% damage resistance, making this build great for both damage and survivability!
In Episode: Revenant, this build uses Ager's Scepter to synergize with Aspect Perks like Wind Chill, which grants a stack of Frost Armor with rapid precision hits. BOOST this perk to also drop Stasis Shards which generate melee energy when collected.
WARNING: The Prismatic subclass and Solipsism require The Final Shape DLC to unlock. Ager's Scepter requires Beyond Light DLC to unlock.
- High ability uptime.
- Very high Super damage.
- High self-healing from Devour.
- Not New Light friendly.
- Requires a lot of Orb generation.
Gameplay Loop
The aim of the Apotheosis Star-Eater Prismatic Warlock build is to charge your Super ability as quickly as possible. When it's full, you can pick up additional Orbs of Power for Spirit of the Star-Eater. Orbs of Power also grant you Woven Mail, a 45% damage resistance.
- Cast Phoenix Dive to activate Reaper. Your next weapon final blow generates an Orb of Power. This also spawns your Hellion, allowing you to spread Scorch with each hit.
- Secure kills with Vortex Grenades to spawn Orbs of Power with Firepower. These kills grant bonus Super energy thanks to Ashes to Assets. Additionally, Vortex Grenade applies Weaken to targets that it damages from Facet of Dominance.
- Use Arcane Needle to spread Unravel. Facet of Courage causes your Light abilities deal even more damage to targets afflicted with this Darkness Debuff
- Kill enemies with Ager's Scepter to Slow those around them. This also counts as a Darkness Debuff and synergizes with the Stasis focus of Episode: Revenant.
- Damage an enemy with Arcane Needle to become Radiant from Facet of Dawn.
- When you have collected enough Orbs to maximize Feast of Light, use Needlestorm to damage bosses or large groups. After your Super ends, your melee and grenade have increased ability regeneration due to Spirit of Apotheosis.
- Cycle through your weapons to activate Bait and Switch for massive boss damage with Edge Transit.
To unlock Solipsism, you need to complete Dual Destiny. Check out our dedicated guide.
