Lucent Guide

Lucent is a premium currency that you can purchase with real life money, or earn by playing the game and selling items on the Auction House. In Throne and Liberty, Lucent can be used to purchase items in the Auction House, in Guild Auctions, and even the Special Shop.
Before moving on, it's important to mention that Lucent is account wide. This means you can do these methods on your main character and alt characters. Because Lucent is account wide, you can have alt characters on a different server that may have higher Auction House prices, sell items on those characters, and then use the Lucent on your main.
How to Make Lucent
Castle Siege, Rift Stone Bosses, Cross-Server Wars, and Tax Delivery Events are ways to earn large amounts of Lucent, but unfortunately, these events aren't a daily occurrence, and not everybody enjoys PvP. Have no fear, though; one of the more consistent ways to make Lucent is by selling items in the Auction House.
Most players make anywhere from 10-100 Lucent daily without even really trying. If your sole focus of progression is to make Lucent for expensive items or traits, you can most definitely push your daily Lucent income to around 200 - 500+ Lucent per day by doing content that grants you items to sell on the Auction House.
While these items will drop in price heavily later on, Rubrix, Marind, Emeret, and Stalon can all be sold on the Auction House as well. All rarity types of these can be sold.

Items to Sell on the Auction House
Traits are some of the most important parts of progression. Because of this, the demand for traits is always high so long as there are players. During the first few months of the game, traits may potentially be at the highest price possible. You can extract traits from all pieces of Armor, Weapons, and Accessories with Trait Extraction Stones.
There are many different ways to obtain items for traits. The main methods would be by killing mobs in the Open World Dungeons or doing Co-Op Dungeons and opening the Dungeon Chests. With enough currency to open 3 Dungeon Chests per day on each character, this is a quick and easy way to attempt to gain items that you desire for your progression while also potentially gaining traits on items to sell for Lucent.
Each of these items can be sold on the Auction House for anywhere between 10-100 Lucent each, while some items with more "High Demand" traits or Epic items can go for a lot more.
High Demand Traits
- Evasion
- Hit
- Crit
- Heavy Attack
- Skill Damage Boost
- Skill Damage Resistance
- Max Health
- Attack Speed
- Range
- Buff Duration
The items listed above are the traits you want to look for, as they tend to sell on the auction house for higher prices.
While traits are a good consistent income, sometimes you may stumble across an item drop that is quite rare. You can turn these items into Lithographs and sell those instead which may lead to a higher profit compared to just selling the specific trait on said item.
In order to turn items into Lithographs, you must first craft the appropriate "Blank Lithograph". Precious Blank Lithograph: Weapons, Precious Blank Lithograph: Armor, and Precious Blank Lithograph: Accessories are all different kinds based on the specific item you want to convert. The main bottleneck here is the Enchanted Ink because of the limited amount you can purchase each week. Weapons use up 50 Enchanted Ink, but Armors and Accessories use up only 25.
Rune Hammer x10 Bundles can be sold on the Auction House for a decent price. Unlike many other methods listed, there isn't really a weekly limit on how many of these you can make/sell. The only bottleneck would be the amount of Rune Fragments you can get. Rune Fragments are created by dissolving Runes. The main method to obtaining Runes is by doing Challenge Mode Dungeons, however, you can also obtain them from Field Bosses, Guild Raids, Dynamic Events, and Open World Dungeons. Since there are no limits to Challenge Mode Dungeons, you should be spamming Tier 5 Challenge Modes because you get enough Runes to dissolve and make about 100 or so Rune Fragments per run.
Similar to selling Rune Hammer x10 Bundles, this is another method that isn't really limited by weekly materials. With the addition to life skilling content, you can now cook food and sell them on the Auction House. While this method takes some time investment, once you're able to craft high level foods, this can become a decent source of Lucent.
As with any form of Cooking, it does require materials to produce food. Most of these materials can be obtained by doing various content such as Dungeons, Fishing, Amitoi Exploration, and drops from monsters in the Open World!
