Showing Skills

So now that you know what weapons are in the game, let's walk you through how we're going to represent skills for any two weapon combinations. Our Development Team has worked tirelessly with the Throne and Liberty Team to develop the necessary tools for you, the readers, to easily figure it out. Let's take a look!

There are 3 types of skills you take, Defense, Active, and Passive Skills, and we help you visualize what skills to take in two ways.

An example is shown here. We display all skills vertically with Skill Specializations right next to the Active Skills. Convenient right?

The other way we present skills is in a horizontal format, which closely resembles the ingame skill bar. You won't see this version at all if you're on mobile. But if you're on desktop, they appear on our Leveling Guides.

Weapon Mastery is also directly embedded into our skills embed. Click the weapon icons to see it!

Showing Gear

Let's take a look at how we'll represent the gearing progress. We'll take you through the steps of your journey from leveling to 50 to your first few weeks in Solisium to your ultimate gear setup and everything in between!

Build Guides

Without further ado, let's take you to our build guides! Throne and Liberty does follow the holy trinity system. If you've never heard of this term before, that's fine! It basically means that in a party, there is a designated Tank, DPS, and Healer role. We classify our Build Guides by weapons and their role in a party.

Tank
DPS
Healer
Featured Sword And Shield V 3
  • Tanks make use of the Sword and Shield weapon in Throne and Liberty.
  • With access to skills like Counter Barrier, Stalwart Bastion, and Chain Hook, Tanks access to high CC, high Durability, and party utility.
  • If you want to play as a Paladin, healing allies and tanking damage, use a Wand as your secondary weapon.
  • To be an all out brawler with a massive Health pool, use the Greatsword.
  • If you want to be an agile menace, evading everything thrown at you while diving into enemy lines, use Dagger.
  • Regardless of your choice, tanks always have a place in the Throne and Liberty meta making them a solid option for enjoying end-game content.

  • Crossbow, Dagger, Greatsword, Staff, and Longbow are all considered DPS weapons. Any combination of the two makes you a full DPS.
  • Each class has incredible DPS skills like Annihilation Barrage Shot, Devastating Smash, Judgment Lightning, and Flash Wave that not only do amazing single target DPS but also AoE.
  • DPS weapons have skills that synergize well with each other like Staff and Longbow. This weapon combination has you throwing out skill after skill, making you essentially an artillerist.
  • If you enjoy being up front and personal, Greatsword / Dagger might be for you.
  • If you like playing as a Hybrid DPS, Crossbow / Dagger might be more up your alley.

  • Healers are signified by their Wand and Tome weapons, providing up to 3 Healing skills, Swift Healing, Clay's Salvation, Fountain of Life Along with defensive skills like Blessed Barrier Invincile Wall, you're a true support.
  • They're extremely versatile; depending on the secondary weapon taken, you can play as Full Support, Buff CC Bot, Hybrid DPS, or Full DPS.
