Welcome to the Greatsword / Crossbow Leveling Build Guide! Mobility, buffs, AoE, CC, this semi off-meta build really has it all! Greatsword / Crossbow is an early game menace! Leveling starts off slow but as you unlock Skill Specialization and core damage skills around levels 30-40, Greatsword / Crossbow starts to really come into its own. With passives like Victor's Morale you never have to worry about Mana Regen during the leveling process!

Stats Priorities
Use the following stat priorities when following the Greatsword / Crossbow Leveling Build Guide:
- Level 1 - 21
- 20 Dexterity
- Level 22 - 41
- 20 Strength
- Level 42 - 50
- 10 Dexterity
You have 49 Stat Points you can freely allocate to any of the 4 primary Stats. Once you put 20 points into an individual Stat, it takes 2 points to increase the Stat by 1. Do not put more than 20 points into a Stat unless absolutely necessary.
The goal with this Greatsword / Crossbow Leveling Build Guide is to reach the highest Maximum Weapon Damage, Attack Speed, and Critical Hit values as possible. Dexterity is the main stat you want to increase in order to maximize your damage in PvE. If you are planning to do PvP Content, gaining Perception and Strength may be warranted to increase Hit Rate and HP.
Key Leveling Notes
- Focus on the Main Story Quest as you level to 50.
- If the Main Story Quest requires a higher level to continue, complete Exploration Codex Quests for additional EXP.
- Before leaving Kastleton during Chapter 3, craft as much Green Gear as possible!
- When your story quests introduce you to Resistance Contracts, be sure to choose ones that give Quality Lithograph: Accessories first!
- Completing Rustic Mother Nature Rings early, grants the ability to use Lethal Fortune Ring while leveling.
Gear Progression
The Leveling process has been made easier since the launch of the Korean version. It doesn't really matter what armor you craft as long as you upgrade it. Thus the following gear set is recommended so you can dabble in PvP as well. Don't fret, PvP is not mandatory at all.
Towards Chapter 3 you start to get quests to craft items. Before heading to Urstella Fields, make sure to craft all the Green Items possible. You should have 2 Green Weapons, 3 Green Armors, and at least 2 Green Accessories. After Chapter 4, you have enough to craft the rest and have a full set of Green Gear.
