New Seasonal Content

Defeat the Mistville "Residents" in the Netherrealm and journey to Mistville. Dispel the mist with Sanity and face various random events to eventually arrive at the Clock Tower. Complete Advent of Folklores in the Clock Tower to receive a Chest of Folklores that contains various rewards. After that, Hunters must welcome a new day from the bench.

Hunters will find all kinds of Food and Old Stuff while exploring Mistville. Use them well to change your exploration experience and even increase drop quantity.

The new season features brand new Season Talents. Hunters must collect Mistville Intel to gradually unlock these Talents and make exploring Mistville easier than ever.

Activation Medium Support Skills

The new season features a batch of brand new skills called Activation Medium Skills. They are often closely linked to auto-triggering, allowing them to significantly simplify gameplay and improve your experience.

Hunters can obtain various Activation Medium Skills from Whispering Mist, and use them to create new, surprising, and powerful builds.

Activation Medium can only be installed in the first support skill slot of an active skill.

Gameplay Adjustments

  • [Gameplay] The number of activations required to obtain the last Talent Node in the Avarice Code from the Cube of Rapacity gameplay has been adjusted from 380 to 120.
  • [Gameplay] Introducing the new endgame mode - Trial of Divinity. Players will obtain corresponding entry tickets (Divinity Emblems) by participating in the God of War, God of Might, Goddess of Hunting, and God of Machines gameplay modes. Combine a specific number of the four types of entry tickets to enter the Trial of Divinity mode at the Spacetime Wanderer. The mode features 50 difficulty levels, and players can choose to challenge a certain number of levels based on their strength before leaving the gameplay area to wait for the mode to end and claim rewards.       In addition to regular drops and Legendary Gear drops, the main loot in the Trial of Divinity is Divinity Stones, which can be exchanged for corresponding rewards at the Blessings from Gods of the Spacetime Wanderer.

At the same time, we have removed the Avarice Bounty from the Cube of Rapacity. Players will now receive Divinity Stones instead of Desire Beads when participating in the Cube gameplay, which can also be exchanged for rewards at the Blessings from Gods.

Story Adjustment

Drop Adjustment

  • The drop stack quantity for Flame Sand/Flame Elementium has been adjusted to: 1/5/10/20/50.
  • In the City of Aeterna gameplay, the probability of Soul Candle points appearing is twice that of before, while the drop quantity of individual Soul Candle points has been reduced accordingly. The overall drop quantity of the remaining points has also been decreased.
  • Twinightmare Season Pactspirit effect has been fixed, and the probability of Sweet Dream/Nightmare monsters dropping Dream Talking in Twinightmare gameplay has been increased.
  • In the Blacksail gameplay, there is a chance to drop specific Fluorescent Memory Shards, which can be exchanged for the exclusive Legendary Gear [Fool's Crown].
  • When using 1 Queen's Grace to challenge the Queen of Eternal Sun, and she will no longer drop [Enamor].
  • When using 3 Queen's Grace to challenge the Queen of Eternal Sun, now there's a chance to obtain a large amount of Dream Talking as a drop.
  • When using 3 Void Sea Invitations to challenge the Lord of the Void Sea, now there's a chance to drop Fluorescent Memory Shards, which can be exchanged for the Legendary Relic "Heart of Ethereal Realm" that unlocks five Engrams.
  • Tidemaster's Exclusive Legendary Gear [Cicada Shell] [Frozen Path] [Corrupted Bulwark] has now been changed to Common Drops.
  • The special equipment bases dropped by Traveler and Plane Watcher have been changed to drop from the Six Gods gameplay, as follows:  God of War: Shaman's Amulet, Cataclysm Amulet, Sunlight Amulet, God's Grace Belt  God of Might: Graceful Ring, Destroyer's Amulet, Onslaughter's Amulet  God of Machines: Lunar Corona Amulet, Sacrificer's Amulet, Boon Belt  Goddess of Hunting: Surge Ring, Aurora Ring, Prisoner Ring

Crafting Adjustment

In order to increase the value of dropped gear and make the gear growth and crafting process more phased, we have made the following adjustments to the rare gear and gear crafting system:

  • Under normal circumstances, the maximum plasticity of rare gear is 100.
  • Rare gear with an item level of 100 has 200 plasticity, but can only be obtained through corresponding Trait Card drops.
  • T0 affixes will only appear in rare gear with an item level of 100.
  • Increased the drop rate of gear with 1-3 T1 affixes.
  • Now, the Prototype Crafting function can only be used on gear with an item level of 70 or higher. The affix upgrade function is unlocked after completing the Chapter 2 Main Quest [Gear Crafting].
  • During Prototype Crafting, locking 1 affix and 2 affixes will consume the same amount of Flame Sand, and the consumption amount has been adjusted accordingly.
  • Flame Residue/Flame Dust is now replaced by Quartz Grain/Ground Quartz, which is the main consumption for affix upgrades. When the gear item level is 100, upgrading T3 affixes to T2 and T2 affixes to T1 will consume Flame Elementium; upgrading affix from T1 to T0 will only consume Ultimate Ember. At the same time, the plasticity consumption for affix upgrades has been reduced.
  • The function of exchanging Flame Sand with Ground Quartz (formerly Flame Dust) at the Trader will be canceled.
  • Added Reincarnation Ember, which can be used to re-randomize a single resistance affix on gear.

Character Panel Adjustment

General Balance Adjustments

The following section outlines the balance adjustments for the Whispering Mist Season, here's the information from the patch notes.

Damage Upper Limit

  • In the previous season, the damage upper limit applied to the calculated value of each instance of damage, meaning that the calculated result of each damage instance could not exceed 100 billion.
  • In the new season, we will adjust the damage upper limit mechanism to:
  • Within the same frame, for the same enemy, damage originating from the same player (including the player's minions, sentries, etc.) is divided according to damage type. All damage of the same type shares an upper limit.
  • Damage types include: On Hit Damage, Secondary Damage, Damage Over Time, Life Removal (including Reaping and Reap Purification), and Injury Buffer.
  • The upper limit for each type of damage is 500 billion per frame.
  • "Dealing additional damage to life" will no longer allow damage to break through the upper limit.

Armor Formula Adjustment

  • When calculating the damage reduction rate provided by a player's or monster's armor, make a distinction:
  • Player Damage Reduction Rate = Player Armor / (0.9 Player Armor + 3000 + 300 Min(Enemy Level, 90))
  • Monster Damage Reduction Rate = Monster Armor Value / (0.9 * Monster Armor Value + 30000)

Spell Burst

  • Triggered skills can no longer activate Spell Burst.
  • Minions can now properly utilize the Spell Burst mechanic.

Resistance

  • Elemental and Erosion Resistance max limit adjusted to 60%, Elemental and Erosion Max Resistance cap adjusted to 90%.
  • Resistance will no longer be reduced at levels 48, 58, and 80.
  • Reduce monster Elemental and Erosion Damage.
  • Adjust the distribution of Elemental and Erosion Resistance.

Others

  • Shock damage now ignores Lightning Resistance.

Hero Trait Adjustment

There are changes to hero traits with a big focus on the 5 base hero traits for the Whispering Mist Season, here's the information from the patch notes.

Hero Trait Unlocking Condition Modification

  • The unlocking conditions for each trait point have been changed from the original level 9, 13, 32, 50, 62, and 80 to completing the Riverside quest, and level 25, 45, 60, 75, and 90.

Berserker Rehan - Anger

  • Trait [Anger] adds "During Berserk state, trigger a Burst on hit, with a cooldown of 0.3 seconds"
  • Trait [Rage] "During Berserk state, on hit, trigger a Burst with a cooldown of 0.3 seconds" has been adjusted to "Even in non-Berserk state, on hit, trigger a Burst with a cooldown of 0.6 seconds."

Berserker Rehan - Seething Silhouette

  • Trait [Seething Silhouette]: The detection radius of the Seething Spirit summoned by Summon increases by 100%.
  • Trait [Seething Silhouette] has been updated with "Possess Seething Spirit, with a 1-second interval between appearances; when in Berserk mode, Seething Spirit appears when the player uses Melee Main Skill."
  • Trait [Seething] adjusted to "When using melee attack skills in a non-berserk state, gain an additional 9 Rage points; -0.8 seconds interval for Seething Spirit to appear."

Skill Adjustments

Many skills have seen bug fixes and general archetype balance changes for the Whispering Mist Season, here's the information from the patch notes.

Skill Fix

  • Fixed the issue with the Sentry skill's bonus release frequency being inaccurate (this would cause the Sentry skill's damage to be too high).
  • Fixed the issue where Sentry and Summon skills could summon Sentries and Minions in unreachable areas.
  • Fixed the issue where [Defense Layers] would immediately activate Energy Shield charging.
  • Fixed the issue with the [Harmonious Field] having a Mobility Tag.
  • Fixed the issue where the bonus to the upper limit of the terra quantity in [Shadow Swamp] could not affect the additional damage increase effect when moving the Shadow Swamp.
  • Fixed the issue where the Knockback effect radius of [Speed Phantom] was not 5 meters.
  • Fixed the issue where [Speed Phantom] and [Bond of Archery] did not consume Mana.
  • Fixed the issue where [Speed Phantom] and [Bond of Archery] did not receive the Empower Skill effect bonus.
  • Fixed the issue of missing persistent duration description for [Haunting Abomination].
  • Fixed the issue where re-casting the skill with the [Mana Boil] Empower effect active would not refresh the effect's duration.
  • Fixed the issue with [Ring of Blades] where it could have a higher Projectile Quantity when the channeled stacks' lower limit was greater than the upper limit.
  • Fixed the issue where the effect of [Thunder Core] repeatedly jumping on a single enemy was not working properly.
  • Fixed the issue where the direction of [Lighting Beam] always faced the character's front instead of the trigger target when triggered.
  • Fixed the issue where the additional strike frequency of channeled stacks for [Howling Gale] was not working correctly.

General Adjustments

  • All Empower, Defensive, and Warcry skills have a Mana Cost of 15 points, which does not change with Level.
  • The Mana Cost of all other spell skills is adjusted to 8 points and does not change with Level (e.g., Blink, Split Firebolt, etc.). The Mana Cost of Channeled skills during channeling is adjusted based on their base Cast Speed.
  • Restoration skills now have a Charging Progress development. When the Charging Progress reaches 15, 1 charging point is replenished. Gain 1/3/6/100 Charging Progress when defeating Normal/Magic/Rare/Boss enemies.
  • In the Spell Skill panel, "Cast Interval" has been changed to "Cast Speed," measured in casts per second. For example: The cast speed of Ice Lances is 1.54 casts/second.
  • In the Warcry skill panel, the display of Warcry cast speed has been added, with the unit being times/second.
  • Slash-Strike skills no longer have a limit on Steep Strike counts. If the Steep Strike chance exceeds 100%, there is a corresponding chance to gain additional Steep Strike counts (refer to the mechanics of Multistrike chance).
  • The Phantom generated by the Thrust skill now independently calculates the Shotgun Effect and is no longer affected by the player's own On Hit effects.
  • When the Phantom and the player hit the same enemy simultaneously, the first Phantom's base damage is the same as the player's. The damage of the second and subsequent Phantoms will be affected by the Shotgun Effect.
  • [Delayed Pain], [Defensive Buffer], [Brisk Wind], [Stoneskin], and [Obscure] no longer share cooldown times with each other.
  • We have restructured the Quest rewards content for all Heroes and the unlock levels for the Skill Shop.

Affix Tier and Unlock Level

  • We have reduced the number of tiers for most affixes and widened the value range for each tier as much as possible.
  • Lowered the unlock level of T1 tier for most base affixes.

Resistance

  • Resistance Affix Unlock Level has been adjusted to Level 60; the number of Resistance Affix tiers has been significantly reduced.
  • The scale of Erosion Resistance affixes is now the same as Elemental Resistance.
  • According to the new Resistance system, the values of Resistance-related Affixes have been adjusted.

Curse

  • Curse effect T1 value has been adjusted from "+(28-36)%" to "+(14-18)%".
  • Chest Armor T0 Affix "You can apply 1 additional curse; -30% Sealed Mana on hit trigger curse" has been changed to "You can apply 2 additional curses."

Enchantment Affix Adjustment

  • To match the new Rare Gear Affix, the unlock levels and values of Resistance-related affixes have been adjusted.
  • Resistance Enchant Affix Unlock Levels adjusted to 60/70/80.

Removed some overly powerful Enchant Affixes.

  • Removed the Belt Enchant Affixes "Additional 1 Stack of Tenacity Blessing," "Additional 1 Stack of Agility Blessing," and "Additional 1 Stack of Focus Blessing."
  • Removed the necklace enchantment affixes "Reduce Triggered Skill Mana Seal," "Reduce Spirit Magus Skill Mana Seal," and "Reduce Imbue Skill Mana Seal."

Adjusted some enchant affixes with values lower than expected.

  • T1 Attack Block Chance has been adjusted from "7-8" to "15-19".
  • One-Handed Weapon T1 Strength has been adjusted from "19-22" to "38-45".
