Introduction

Welcome to the class balance changes overview of the November Patch. This list is based on the last major balance patches on the KR live servers.

Tip

General Balance

Hallucination Set

  • 4 set effect changed:  Increases the critical hit rate by 15/18/20%. On Crit Hit, Hallucination's duration +1s. (Cooldown: 0.4s).
  • 6 set effect changed: If Hallucination lasts more than 9s, gain Reality for 90s 120s. Reality: Damage to foes +12/14/15%. Crit Rate +5/7/8%. On Crit Hit, Reality duration +1s. (Cooldown: 0.4s.)

Specialization Combat Stat now additionally increases the Barrage Meter gain.

Reduced the Specialization Combat Stat scaling factor of the Firepower buff from 0.7 to 0.62.

Increased the PvE Damage of all Normal Skills and Awakening by 16%.

Increased the PvE Damage of all Barrage Skills by 14.0%.

Reduced the PvP Damage of all Normal Skills and Awakening by 6%.

Reduced the PvP Damage of all Barrage Skills by 14.5%.

(Hotfix after major kr balance patch reduced the PvE Damage of all Skills by 9.7%. Not sure if we will get this in EU/NA November patch too.)

Freeze Shell

  • This skill has been replaced by a new skill called 'High Pressure Thermal Bullet'.
  • Freeze Shell gem has been changed to 'High Pressure Thermal Bullet' gem.

Enhanced Shell

  • Skill animation has been modified.
  • Law of the Jungle changed: The Barrage Meter gain for each hit is increased by 60.0/67.0/74.0/82.0/90.0%.
  • Piercing Shell changed: Changes the shell to pierce, making it pierce foes in its path and reducing their Movement Speed by 60%.

Multiple Rocket Launcher

  • Back Step changed: The rocket fire speed is increased by 100.0%, and the recoil distance is 0.4 meters with each rocket blast. As the distance to the enemy increases, the Damage dealt to the enemy also increases by up to 20.0/26.0/32.0/38.0/44.0%.
  • Access Denied changed: On top of the existing effect, it reduces the rocket spread.
  • Gauge gain of Firepower Meter and Barrage Meter is reduced by 35.0%.

Homing Barrage

  • Power Bomb changed: Drop a bomb that inflicts +85.0/94.0/104.0/115.0/126.0%.
  • Gauge gain of Firepower Meter and Barrage Meter is increased by 50.0%.

Forward Barrage

  • Gauge gain of Firepower Meter and Barrage Meter is reduced by 26.6%.
  • Firepower Control changed: On hit, Barrage Meter recovery +30.0/33.0/37.0/41.0/45.0%.
  • Increased explosion radius of Dancing Explosion.

Flamethrower

  • Increased the PvE Damage by 31.2%.
  • Increased the PvP Damage by 9.3%.
  • The Firepower Meter and Barrage Meter gain increased by 50.9%.
  • Cooldown Time increased from 20 to 27 seconds.
  • Mana Consumption increased by 18.8%.
  • Quick Prep: Cooldown Reduction changed from 4.0/4.7/5.4/6.2/7.0 seconds to 5.0/6.0/7.0/8.0/9.0 seconds.
  • Firepower Control changed: Per hit, Barrage Meter gain +30.0/33.0/37.0/41.0/45.0%.

Gravity Explosion

  • Increased the PvE Damage by 90%.
  • The Firepower Meter and Barrage Meter gain increased by 80%.
  • Mana Consumption reduced by 5.9%.
  • Increased the "Perfect Zone" range.
  • Cooldown Time reduced from 30 to 27 seconds.
  • Free Fire changed: Crit Rate increases by 20.0/26.0/32.0/38.0/45.0%. This tripod can be leveled up to level 5.

Jump Barrage

  • All skill hits occur 0.1 seconds faster, except the Rocket Jump tripod.

Barrage: Howitzer

  • Cooldown Time reduced from 9 to 7 seconds.

Barrage: Energy Cannon

  • Changed to a “Holding Skill".

Energy Field

  • Firepower Concentration changed: When HP is 30% or less, Firepower and Barrage Meter +50%. Immediately end Barrage Mode Cooling.

Identity

The Identity Meter has been split into Firepower Meter and Barrage Meter.

  • Normal Skills: Acquire 270% Firepower Meter and 66% Barrage Meter of the original (current) Identity Meter gain.
  • Barrage Skills: Acquire 270% Firepower Meter of the original (current) Identity Meter gain. You can't gain Barrage Meter by using Barrage Skills.
  • Awakening Skills: Acquire 270% Firepower Meter and 100% Barrage Meter of the original (current) Identity Meter gain.

Once the Firepower Meter is full, the lvl 3 Firepower buff is activated, but the duration limit of it has been removed and the Fire Power meter doesn't reset after the buff ends. The meter gradually decreases if you didn't hit any foes for more than 6 seconds. The lower level Firepower buffs are acquired once the meter starts to decrease.

You can enter Barrage Mode once the Barrage Meter is full. While being in the Barrage Mode, all Damage taken is reduced by 20%. At the end of the Barrage Mode, you enter a “cooling state”, during which you can't acquire any Barrage Meter.

Class Engraving

Firepower Enhancement

  • Changed: When the Firepower Meter is full, the overheat effect is activated, increasing the Damage of Normal Skills by 4/10/20%. The duration of the Firepower Meter is increased to 8/10/12 seconds. Damage taken reduced by 5/10/15% as long as you are not in Barrage Mode.

Barrage Enhancement

  • Changed: The Damage of the Barrage Skills is increases by 5/12/20%, and Crit Rate of the Barrage Skills is increases by 20/30/40%. Increases the acquisition amount of the Barrage Meter by 30% and removes the cooling state.

PvE

Increased the PvE Damage of all Shotgun Skills by 5%.

Sharpshooter

  • Special Bullet changed: Removes the Back Attack affix, but increases the Damage by 5.0/10.0/16.0/22.0/28.0% and Crit Rate by 10%.
  • In a Tight Spot changed: Damage to Push-Immune foes +50.0/57.5/65.0/72.5/80.0%.

Class Engraving

Peacemaker

  • Changed: Attack Speed +8/12/16%, when changing to Hand Gun Stance. Crit Rate +10% and Damage +5/10/15%, when changing to Shotgun Stance. Damage dealt to foes, when changing to Rifle Stance +10% and additional Damage to foes below 50% health +10/20/30%. Buffs last for 9 Seconds.

Time to Hunt

  •  Changed: Handgun and Rifle skills' Crit Rate +22/33/45%. Unable to use Shotgun Stance.

Developer Comment

Gunslinger's damage metrics in end content have been stagnant lately. Accordingly, the Shotgun Stance skills and Tripod effects have been modified, and the Class Engraving effect has been improved to increase the upper limit of damage.

  • Increased the Ancient Meter gain by 40%.

Marilyn

  • Reduced the Ancient Meter gain by 60%.

Pauru

  • Reduced the Ancient Meter gain by 40%.
  • Communication Tripod Changed: Increases Damage to Push-Immune foes by 15.0/21.1/27.3/33.6/39.9 and can be leveled up to level 5.

Water Spirit

  • Increased the PvE Damage by 10%.
  • Increased the Ancient Meter gain by 20%.
  • Water Cannon Tripod Changed: The attack angle of the spirit is reduced by 50.0%, but the attack range is increased by 100.0%. On hit, Ancient Energy obtained increases by 100.0/112.0/124.0/137.0/150.0%. This Tripod can be leveled up to level 5.

Ancient Spear

  • Casting time reduced by 0.5 seconds.
  • Reduced the PvP damage by 22%.
  • Flame Spear Tripod Changed: [Fire Attribute] Damage +25.0/31.0/37.0/43.0/50.0%.

Winged Spirit

  • Increased the PvE Damage by 10%.
  • Increased the Ancient Meter gain by 40%.
  • Thunder Spirit Tripod Changed: [Lightning Attribute] ignores 40.0/47.0/54.0/62.0/70.0% of enemy's defense.

Shatter Earth

  • Increased the PvE Damage by 30%.
  • Increased the Ancient Meter gain by 40%.
  • Ground Manipulation Changed: Mana consumption +30.0%, but damage to foes +120.0/132.0/144.0/157.0/170.0%.

Electric Discharge

  • Increased the Ancient Meter gain by 40%.

Sticky Swamp Moss

  • Increased the Ancient Meter gain by 40%.

Electric Storm

  • Casting time reduced by 0.5 seconds.
  • Increased the PvE Damage by 10%.
  • Reduced the PvP damage by 18%.
  • Increased the Ancient Meter gain by 20%.
  • Sturdy Robe Tripod Changed: Crit Rate +15.0/21.0/27.0/33.0/40.0%.
  • Vital Attack Tripod Changed: Each thunder strike increases Damage to foes +10.0/12.0/14.0/16.0/18.0% up to a maximum of 50.0/60.0/70.0/80.0/90.0%.
  • Red Storm Tripod Changed: The electric storm changes to red and the thunder strike interval is reduced by 50.0%. The number of hits increased by 5 times. When Enhanced Duration Tripod is applied, the total number of strikes increases to 24. Damage dealt to foes +25.0/31.0/37.0/44.0/50.0%.

Awakening

Bagron's Wrath

  • Increased the Ancient Meter gain by 100%.

Class Identity

  • Categorized summoner skills into General Skills and Summoning Skills.
  • Reduced the “Shift-Key” quick command execution time.

Osh Skill

  • Attack attribute changed to Earth.
  • Increased the PvE Damage by 20%.

Alimage Skill

  • Increased the PvE Damage by 18%.

Phoenix Skill

  • Skill effects have been improved.
  • Increased the PvE Damage by 16%.

Zahia & Ligaas Skill

  • Changed from Holding to Normal skill.
  • Reduced the PvP damage by 21%

Akir Skill

  • Increased Akir's Attack Speed.

Class Engraving

Senior Summoner Engraving Changed: Reduced Wisdom Orbs cost for Spirit Summoning Skills by 1. Damage of Normal Skills and Spirit Summoning Skills +2/5/10% and Crit Rate +3/8/16%.

  • Osh (Senior Summoner): Summons the ancient spirit Osh to a designated location within 15m. Osh tramples the enemy with his huge feet, dealing Earth Attribute Damage to the target and knocks them down.
  • Alimage (Senior Summoner): Summons the ancient spirit Alimage in the shape of a dragon at a designated location within 15m. Alimage swallows the target and inflicts Earth Attribute Damage, then explodes to deal Fire Attribute Damage and lifts the target high in the air. If the target is staggered, the damage dealt is increased by an additional 50%.
  • Phoenix (Senior Summoner): Summons an ancient spirit phoenix, dealing Fire Attribute Damage to everyone on its path. After a short delay, explosions occur at the location where the phoenix flew, dealing additional Fire Attribute Damage.
  • Zahia @ LIfaas (Senior Summoner): Summons the water spirits Zahia and Ligaas to inflict Water Attribute Damage to all nearby enemies, then instantly freezes the vortex to deal Water Attribute Damage and freezes the target for 4 seconds. After using the skill, receive the protection of Zahia and Ligaas to create a shield that absorbs Damage equal to 30% of your maximum HP for 5 seconds.
  • Akir (Senior Summoner): Summons the ancient spirit Akir to a designated location within 14m. Akir draws nearby enemies to his location, inflicting Dark Attribute Damage, then drops lightning with a powerful roar, dealing Dark Attribute Damage.

Ancient Energy Engraving Changed: Marilyn, Pauru, Carnivorous Lily, Shredi, and Water Spirit summon +5/10/20%, and damage +10/17/25%. Increases the Movement and Attack Speed of summons +3/6/10%, and reduces the cooldown of pet command skills by 3/6/10%.

Developer Comment

Summoner has limited pools of Skills, Engravings and Tripods to choose from, if you want to deal high Damage. This results in a very static gameplay. We decided that this part needs a change even for adventurers who are trying to create a new Summoner. Therefore, the General Skills, Summoning Skills and Tripods that are difficult to use due to the long Casting time or lack of effectiveness, have been improved. Now you can pick your play style actively and utilizes the Summoning Skills in a more efficient way.

PvE

Infinity Shower

  • Replaced Infinity Shower with the new skill “Back Flush”.
  • Changed Infinity Shower gem into “Back Flush” gem.

Call of Destiny

  • Concentration of Destiny changed: Changes the skill into a Stacking Skill. Stacking effect occurs twice. Casting Time reduced by 0.3 seconds and Damage dealt +20/26/32/38/45%.
  • Quick Draw changed: On hit, 12.0/14.0/16.0/18.0/20.0% chance to obtain 1 Specialty Card.

Unlimited Shuffle

  • Storm of Dest. changed: In a more concise motion, inflict damage 3 times at the designated location, lift the enemy into the air, and deal +70.0/78.0/87.0/96.0/105.0% Damage.
  • Quick Draw changed: On hit, 18.0/21.0/24.0/27.0/30.0% chance to obtain 1 Specialty Card.

Mysterious Stampede

  • Quick Draw changed: On hit, 18.0/21.0/24.0/27.0/30.0% chance to obtain 1 Specialty Card.

Dark Resurrection

  • Quick Draw changed: On hit, 24.0/28.0/32.0/36.0/40.0% chance to obtain 1 Specialty Card.

Evoke

  • The delay to trigger the skill has been reduced from 2 seconds to 1 second.
  • Split Magick Circle changed: Damage hit time has been adjusted 5-> 3 seconds.
  • Quick Draw changed: On hit, 12.0/14.0/16.0/18.0/20.0% chance to obtain 1 Specialty Card.

Quadra Accelerate

  • Now, the Skill Animation can be canceled with Spacebar after the first attack.

Dancing of Spineflower

  • Increased PvE Damage by 20%.
  • Removed the Back Attack skill affix.
  • Thorn Integration changed: Decreases the number of attacks to 4, but attacks the enemy more quickly. Damage to foes +60.0/68.0/77.0/86.0/95.0%.
  • Fatal Thorn changed:  Changes to Normal Skill. Upon using Teleport, inflict +40% of the base skill's last attack Damage at the location. Each hit, increases fatal thorn Damage by 25.0/28.0/32.0/36.0/40.0% and stacks up to 7 times.

Checkmate

  • Reduced the PvE damage by 3.8%.

Celestial Rain

  • Increased Attack Range by 1 meter.

Four of a Kind

  • Increased Skill Cooldown by 4 seconds.
  • Increased Mana Consumption by 13.8%.
  • Increased the PvE and PvP Damage by 25.35%.
  • Increased the PvE and PvP Specialty Meter gain by 25.36%.
  • Delayed Shock changed: Crit Rate of the Skill and Stack Effect +44%. Damage to Push-Immune foes +12.0/18.0/24.0/30.0/36.0%. 

Serendipity

  • Lucky Smite changed: No longer knocks back foes. Attack Speed +30.0/33.0/36.0/39.0/42.0%. Stuns duration +2.0 seconds.

Identity

The probability of drawing the Identity Cards has been modified.

  • Draw probability increased: Balance, Cull, Judgment, Wheel of Fortune
  • Draw probability decreased: Three-Headed Snake, Twisted Fate, Ghost, Moon, Star, Royal, Mayhem, Corrosion

Ghost

  • Changed: Ignores collision with monsters and players. Movement Speed +20% for 16 seconds.

Moon

  • Changed: Cooldown -20% for 30 seconds.

Star

  • Changed: Recovers 50% MP. Increases MP Recovery Speed +20% for 20 seconds.

Cull

  • Changed: Effects also apply to normal hits(AA).

New Identity Cards have been added

  • Clown: Copies the effect of the previously used Identity Card.
  • Joy: Instantly reduces the remaining Cooldown Time of all skills except Awakening and dodging(Spacebar) skills by 15%, or with a 50% chance by 30%.
  • Prince: Normal Skill damage +50% for 4 seconds. Only available if the Class Engraving Order of the Emperor is active.
  • Renewal: Crit Rate of Normal Skills +20% for 10 seconds. Only available if the Class Engraving Order of the Emperor is active.

Ruin Skills

  • Upon using Ruin skills in PvE, you gain a certain amount of Specialty Meter based on the Stacks triggered.
  • 4-Stack Ruin Damage +5%.

Class Engraving

Order of the Emperor

  • Changed: Normal Skills Damage +20.0/30.0/40.0% and an Emperor Card is added to the deck. Replaces Balance and Judgment cards with Prince and Renewal cards. Emperor card Damage +0/30.0/80.0%.

  • Bell Strike Attack range increased from 30% to 70%.

One-Man Army

  • This skill has been removed and replaced with a new skill called "Earth Wave".
  • One-Man Army gem has been changed to "Earth Wave" gem.

Perfect Swing

  • The number of attacks of the basic skill and the tripod Intemperance has been changed from 2 to 1. Collision Damage of the forwards dash animation got removed. To compensate that, the Damage dealt by using Intemperance is increased by 6.8%.
  • Finishing Strike Changed: Acquire 9.0/10.0/11.0/12.0/13.0% additional Gravity Meter per Gravity Core.
  • Hour of Slaughter Changed: Changes to Normal Mode, immediately swings the hammer, inflicting the same Damage as Overcharge. Increases total Damage dealt by 30.0/36.5/43.0/50.8/58.6%.

Seismic Hammer

  • Toughened Body Changed: Damage to enemies increases by 15.0/21.0/27.0/33.0/40.0%.
  • Law of the Jungle Changed: Gain 10.0/11.0/12.0/13.0/15.0% additional Gravity Meter per Gravity Core.

Earth Eater

  • Absolute Strength Changed: Gain 9.0/10.0/11.0/12.0/13.0% additional Gravity Meter per Gravity Core.

Neutralizer

  • Dark Energy Changed: Gain 9.0/10.0/11.0/12.0/13.0% additional Gravity Meter per Gravity Core.

Full Swing

  • Absolute Strength Changed: Gain 10.0/11.0/12.0/13.0/15.0% additional Gravity Meter per Gravity Core.

Gravity Compression

  • Skill Animation has been modified.
  • Move Position Changed: Changes to Normal Mode, you can move freely after thrusting the handle into the ground.
  • Magnetic Field Enh. Changed: The Damage dealt from 150.0/170.0/190.0/210.0/230.0% to 76.0/86.0/95.0/105.0/115.0%.

Awakening

Terra Break

  • Shortened the skill casting animation.

Class Identity

Gravity Meter

  • The amount of Gravity meter gained per Gravity Core by using Gravity Release Skills has been increased from 1.5%/3.0%/6.0% to 2.0%/4.0%/8.0%.

Hypergravity Zone

  • Decreases the Defense of all enemies hit by your attacks in the Hypergravity Zone by 12% for 3 seconds.

Class Engraving

Gravity Training

  • Changed: When using Gravity Release Skills, gain 20.0/45.0/70.0% additional Gravity Meter. Basic Attack and Vortex Gravity Crit Rate +10.0/20.0/30.0% and +4.0/10.0/20.0% Attack Damage to foes during Hypergravity Mode. If the Hypergravity attack hits the same enemy 3 times, it inflicts “Gravity Shock”, which deals additional Damage.
