Post Level 50 Content Guide
Last Updated:October 13, 2024|Change Log
You've hit 50. Now, what do you do? In this post level 50 guide, you learn everything you need to know about your next steps!
Dailies
There are no post level 50 Skill Points to collect as you have in Lost Ark. Your main focus after hitting level 50 is to avoid overcapping on Contract Rights and Dimensional Contract Token Points.
Contracts
Contracts are essentially your daily quests in other MMOs. You gain 10 additional Contract Rights at the daily reset but there is a limit to how many you can hold. Speak to any Contract Manager at Watcher's Post, Purelight Tower, or Canina Village to complete Level 50 appropriate contracts. You acquire various progression materials like Ores, Rare Polished Crystal, and Training Dew: 10,000 Points from completing them.
To learn more about Contracts, see our Contracts Guide!
Contract Coin Merchant
When you complete Contracts, you gain Contract Coins, which you use to purchase a daily limited amount of Ores, Mystic Keys, Precious Blessing Pouches, Trait Extraction Stones, Enchanted Inks, and more. You can buy these items at any Contract Coin Merchant in any town.
Dungeons
In Throne and Liberty, you gain 900 Dimensional Contract Token Points at Daily Reset. Opening the Dungeon Chest at the end of each T1 Dungeon costs 300 and T2 Dungeon Chests cost 450.
Well, which dungeon should you prioritize, then? Because there are 6 options. What you should do is take a look at the Gear Progression sections of our following build guides. Thus, it is best should focus on the dungeons that give you the gear pieces you need.
For guides on all the dungeons, visit our Dungeons page!
Open World Dungeons
Open World Dungeons are mandatory places for F2P players to grind Sollant, Crafting Materials, and BiS gear. So long as you have enough Abyssal Contract Tokens, most monsters you kill drop items. Ant's Nest Acid Ants drop gear like Impure Witch's Linen Pants and Shadowed Crypt Dark Enforcers drops Hermit's Shroud. I highly advise getting a group of 6 and using all your Abyssal Contract Tokens. Don't let it cap at 20,000.
For more information, visit our Open World Dungeon page.
Taedal's Tower
Half of the floors are only attemptable once you've reached level 50. Make sure to complete each floor for their bountiful rewards.
For guides on each floor, visit our Taedal's Tower page.
Weeklies
Weekly Contracts
Each week, you are allowed to buy up to:
- 6x Allied Resistance Forces Contract Scroll II Laslan & Stonegard
Completing these contracts rewards you with their respective Precious Blessing Pouch and Abyss Currency.
These Precious Blessing Pouches allow you to acquire any Tier 1 Purple Gear that can drop from the monsters in that dungeon.
Abyss Currency, on the other hand, allows you to craft either the
- Precious Epic Equipment Chest: Abyss
- Precious Epic Equipment Chest: Shadow
- Precious Epic Equipment Chest: Desire
- Precious Epic Equipment Chest: Tyrant
- Precious Epic Equipment Selection Chest: Abyss
These chests allow you to pick which gear you want specifically. You need Abyss Currency to craft one with the Weapon Crafter, Armor Crafter, or Accessory Craft in Stonegard Castle.
Once the weekly reset occurs, you can buy Allied Resistance Forces Contract Scroll II Laslan & Stonegard again for all your characters. Make sure to stock up on each character every week, as they have no expiration date!
Taedal's Tower Contracts
Taedal's Tower Contracts allow you to rechallenge a floor again, ranging from 10F to 20F. You may purchase up to 3 from Sundries Merchant every week. The rewards are shown in the image to the right.
- 2 Precious Rubrix Ore
- 6 Precious Stalon Ore
- 5 Precious Emeret Ore
- 28 Training Dew: 10,000 Points
To learn more about weekly contracts, see our Contracts Guide!
Ornate Coin Shop
The Ornate Shop is an expanded system of what the Korean version currently has. In this shop, you can buy progression items like Precious Weapon Growthstone. The currency you use is Ornamental Coin, which you can acquire from collecting Collection Codex pages.
- Near Kastleton Collection Codex
- Near Starlight Observatory Collection Codex
- Near Purelight Tower Collection Codex
- Near Watcher's Post Collection Codex
- Near Vienna Village Collection Codex
- Near Stonegard Castle Collection Codex
- Near Sanctuary Oasis Collection Codex
- Near Canina Village Collection Codex
Dynamic Events
Dynamic Events occur every 3 hours. It's not mandatory to attend these unless you want Rare Food Selection Chest, Rare Magic Powder or Activity Points.
To learn more about all the different Dynamic Events, see our Dynamic Events Guide!
Lithograph Book
Some BiS gear pieces, like Slaughterer's Collar, come from completing your Lithograph Book. Many other rewards like Rare Active Skill Growth Book, Precious Armor Growthstone, and Trait Unlockstone are included in some rewards.
To see the recommended entries you should complete, visit our Lithograph Book System Guide!
Field Bosses
Try to attend Field Bosses when they come up, as some BiS gear drops from them. For example, Tycan's Bloodlust Belt drops from Nirma. Granted, if you're in a guild, your guild may have set it up so that any loot that drops from Field Bosses goes to the guild chest. After that, depends on the loot distribution rules within your guild.
To learn about all the specific Bosses, their mechanics and drops, see our Boss page!
Joining a Guild
It's important to join a guild or be part of one, no matter how small.
Guild Bosses
I recommend joining a guild so you can participate in weekly Guild Bosses. Guild Bosses drop the same loot as Field Bosses. Depending on how your guild distributes loot, you might obtain BiS gear like Reaper's Interring Pants. You also receive Guild Coin for completing Guild Bosses, which you need to buy Trait Conversion Stones.
To learn about the Guild System, visit our Guild Guide here.
Guild Coin Merchant
Donate Sollant and other crafting materials in a guild to acquire more Guild Coin. The Guild Coin Merchants have exclusive items like Trait Conversion Stone, Mana Regen Potion, and Rare Recovery Crystal. Buying the weapons is also another way for you to trait your own.
Guild Contract
Participating in Guild Contracts helps level your guild and increase your Reputation score in the guild. Once a Guild Contract finishes, you are awarded Guild Coins and Activity Points based on the percentage you helped complete.
For more information on guilds, see our Guild System Guide!
Exploration Codex
If you haven't finished all of your Exploration Codex Quests yet, make some time to complete the ones that award you Crafting Materials, and any other important items you may want.
Alts
An Alt's purpose in Throne and Liberty is to eventually get to the point where they can sell items at the Auction House for Lucent. Lucent is account-wide, so spend that Lucent on your main! Unlike Lost Ark, you cannot transfer any materials or items between characters unless it's bought and sold through the Auction House. I wouldn't say making an Alt is necessary, but it helps you progress faster. The downside is that you have to get enough materials to level your Alt's skills and gear, which takes time.
Summary
Throne and Liberty offers a variety of post level 50 activities to participate in.
- Complete your contract, dungeon dailies, and weekly contracts to acquire materials for gear progression.
- Farm Open World Dungeons for Sollant and BiS gear like Mother Nature's Miracle Clothing.
- Attend Dynamic Events for Training* and Improvement* Books.
- Attend Field Bosses for possible BiS gear drops.
- Join a guild to reap rewards from weekly Guild Bosses and Guild Coin Merchants.
- Finish your Exploration Codex if you still need to.
- Create Alts to increase your Lucent income.
